WHAT IF MY CHILDREN DON'T WANT TO POSE?
That's completely fine. In fact, some of the most meaningful photographs happen when children are simply allowed to be children. Rather than expecting them to stand still and smile at the camera, we can walk, play, cuddle and explore. I will guide your family through simple interactions that naturally create beautiful moments without making the session feel forced.
WHERE CAN WE HAVE OUR FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT?
Family sessions can take place in many beautiful locations across Denmark, including Zealand and Copenhagen. Together we will choose a setting that suits your family, the season and the feeling you want your photographs to have.
The coast is perfect for relaxed family photography with plenty of space to walk, play and move naturally. Soft evening light, open skies and neutral sandy tones create photographs that feel light, timeless and full of freedom.
Woodland locations offer a quiet and intimate atmosphere with beautiful textures, soft greens and gentle filtered light. They are especially lovely for families who want natural, peaceful photographs surrounded by nature.
Open fields are wonderful for warm, airy photographs with beautiful evening light. Children have space to run and explore, while golden grass and wide landscapes create a relaxed, cinematic feeling.
For families who love a more editorial feeling, Copenhagen offers beautiful streets, architecture and quiet urban corners. These sessions can feel stylish and modern while still keeping the focus on natural connection and genuine interaction.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR A FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT?
The most beautiful family photographs usually begin with clothing that feels natural, comfortable and harmonious. You do not need to dress identically — the goal is to create a soft, connected look while still allowing everyone to feel like themselves.
CHOOSE SOFT, NATURAL COLOURS
Cream, beige, soft brown, muted green, dusty blue and other gentle tones photograph beautifully and keep the attention on your faces and connection.
COORDINATE, DON'T MATCH
Choose colours and textures that work well together rather than dressing everyone in exactly the same outfit. Subtle variation creates a more natural and timeless result.
COMFORT COMES FIRST
Children should be able to move, play and cuddle comfortably. When everyone feels relaxed in what they are wearing, the photographs naturally feel more genuine too.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR FAMILY SESSION
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
We will choose a location, time and atmosphere that feel right for your family. I will also help you with clothing and preparation so everything feels simple and relaxed before the session even begins.
DURING YOUR SESSION
You do not need to know how to pose. We will walk, play, cuddle and simply spend time together. I will gently guide you when needed while allowing natural connection and genuine moments to unfold.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
Your selected photographs are individually edited and delivered through a private online gallery in high resolution. You can download your images easily and choose additional photographs if you would like more.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Family sessions are designed to feel relaxed rather than rushed. We allow enough time for children to settle in, move, play and take natural breaks when needed. The exact length depends on your family and the type of session you choose.
Family photo sessions can take place at beautiful outdoor locations across Denmark, including Zealand and Copenhagen. Beaches, forests, open fields and urban locations can all work beautifully. Together, we will choose a setting that suits your family, the season and the atmosphere you would like for your photographs.
I keep an eye on the weather before every outdoor family session. Light cloud, soft wind and changing skies can still create beautiful photographs. If the weather truly makes the session unsuitable, we will discuss the best alternative and arrange another suitable time.
For outdoor family photography, soft light usually creates the most flattering and atmospheric photographs. Depending on the season and location, this often means photographing later in the day when the light becomes warmer and gentler. We will choose the exact time together based on your children, the location and the light.
After your session, you will receive a private online selection gallery with the best photographs from your session, carefully selected by the photographer.
You can then choose the photographs included in your package — 5 photographs with the Mini Session or 15 photographs with the Full Family Session.
Once you have made your selection, your chosen photographs will be individually edited in high resolution and prepared for downloading and printing.
If you would like more photographs, additional images can be purchased for 50 DKK each.
Your photographs are carefully selected and individually edited before being delivered through a private online gallery. You will receive your finished photographs within 2 weeks after your family photo session.
